Hubby has donned his apron tonight and produced a culinary treat. Unfortunately, I was barred from the kitchen as he got into the zone to whip up this delicacy. I couldn't let the opportunity pass to post this however, as it really was delicious and was very quick.
Mussels are quite widely available in most supermarkets, but are even better from a local fishmongers or freshly caught from a market. Read the instruction carefully about how to prepare and which to eat and which to discard. But don't be afraid, they really are quick, easy and scrumptious. Great served with a crusty loaf to soak up all those creamy, garlicky juices. This is probably not one for the kids though as a bit boozy. Check out the tried and tested recipe on the link below.
